BLOGWATCHERS, I have found a new love. She has the freshest fashion style. She's from LONDON (I think) and her music is cool. And everything she does, reminds her of me. :) And her name is ANNIE. Yes, I stumbled across this cool cat on iTunes Music Store one boring day.  She just has the look and sound that I think represents what I want to see more of in London fashion and UK music. I'm tired of seeing girl groups decked out in Topshop leathers and studs, it's dated! Please come with something new! PLEASE.

Kelis: Acapella Video Preview

Hey, I know it seems like I must be on some sort of Keliswatch right now but it's only because I really like her new stuff so much. Well, this weekend she released a short teaser of her music video. It shows Kelis wearing a native American headdress with artistic twists to it. e.g. the constant short flashes of Kelis in a blue-lit room with fluorescent pink lips and a masquerade mask ... I like. But to be honest, I DID expect to see something a bit more, metal, electric - themed. By the way, the video was shot in London. My hometown.

Okay so Kelis is on the verge of breaking out again, she's dropped her track Acapella for all the radio stations and the video will be released sometime soon. But this is what I want to know ... (and hardcore Kelis fans will be able to agree with me on this) why is 'They Say featuring Kid Cudi' not the first single from her new album!? I do not even know if this song is official or if it is a leak but this song sets the standard for what I EXPECT TO HEAR IN 2010, any less is not appreciated! Kid Cudi's feature on the song is just, great! He doesn't rap or anything, he sings (when rappers 'sing' on a track they are actually just talking slowly) with Kelis on the chorus. The song is just reminiscent of Spring/Summer fashion! Honestly, it reminds me of Marching Orders, the marching throughout the track makes me want to see a video now now now!

Don't get me wrong, I DO like Acapella. I listened to it for the first time on my train into college and I actually got very very VERY happy about how much I was enjoying the song, and people were looking at me like I was crazy. Like I didn't know already! (I am not a crazy. I promise you.) But yeah, Kelis ... please release They Say, even if you only release it in my household i will be VERY happy.

The Sims 2: Dead or Alive?

(When I look back at some of my Sims Artwork, I really miss the 'create-a-sim process) Hi again! Well, this week I finally uninstalled The Sims 2 and all the expansion packs off of my laptop. I feel like I've grown out of it. After a while, I would only use it to play around with celebrity lookalikes, e.g. Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Kanye West, BARACK OBAMA! On my last few days of the game, I created this bare 'photo' of Lady Gaga. I featured this on my blog because I personally think it is actually beautiful; if only it was real! After I took the picture on the game, I spent a few hours on Photoshop editing it. Sometimes I ask myself why I find the game so addictive, I really don't know why. But, I dunno, what do you think, should I install it again? I wanted to have 'Trash models' to feature on my blog. I think it'd be cool. I need advice!

Style Guru: Diamonds & Denim

Hi guys! I just thought it would be cool if i jazzed up my pictures a bit so I'm just going to do a little something on all my pictures. ( a little reminiscent of Kanye West's "where are you yeezy?"). In the meantime, here's a little something for you. I'm in a good mood. My new favourite store French Connection have a whole new collection, with A LOT of denim (you will see in my next 'style guru'!). But umm...yeah, I love denim shirts, so I based this whole minimalist outfit around that Topman denim shirt. Enjoy!

Lady Gaga ft Byonce: Telephone Official Video

The video is FINALLY HERE! That it was shot nearly two months ago makes me wonder why they took so long to release it! Also, there is SO MUCH advertisements in this video. Most companies knew the impact this video will make, so they probably thought "pshh, why not!" i mean really, COME ON! A dating site, a phone, take-away ... everything is advertised in this! Anyway, enjoy!

B.o.B: Nothin' On You Official Video

I heard this song (umm...legally?) about 3 or 4 months ago and instantly fell in love with it; the chorus just caught my attention straight away! After a while, it was my ultimate favourite song of 2009 Winter, and now the video has hit the web and I am excited! I haven't watched it yet, I just found it and decided to share it with you all!

At this years London Fashion Week, Carolyn Massey's A/W 2010 wowed me. She brought an Italian feel with all the soft materials, tailored trousers and merged it with a 1990's Japanese style with unstructured tops, the beiges', blacks and skinny belts. So, here is your Autumn/Winter style hook up (a few months early).

Here is just a fun, easy and effortless look I put together. It's pretty much perfect for a night out with the girls, your first date with the hot guy you catch eye contact with every morning on the train, or even to a family get together. French Connection's Grecian inspired dress flatters most body shapes. And Topshop's Wedges matched with River Island's Tights work wonders for shorter women. Complete silhouettes can lengthen your legs and make you look MUCH taller.

Erykah Badu: Window Seat (Jimmy Fallon Live)

Erykah is serious about New Amerykah Part 2! She took back to the stage for a live peformance on Jimmy Fallon Live this week. She wowed me (at the least) with her questionably awful outfit! What do you think?

Janet Jackson: New Music

Janet Jackson has hit us up agai with a new song calld 'Heartbeat Love' featuring Pitbull & Rock City. When I say this lady has worked her a** off for he new album, I mean it! This song is just great! It's fun, current and you can dance to it! Some say that Janet was inspired by Trinidadian soca music when making this song ... maybe!

After what felt like an eternity since Kanye West released music, he conjured up this video for 'Coldest Winter', one of my favourite songs from 808s & Heartbreak. I like Kanye West. I like 'Coldest Winter'. But I was taught not to say anything if I had nothing good to say.

London Fashion Week: Sass and Bide

London's Fashion Week is live and kicking and Sass and Bide's S/S 2010 line impressed me! Apart from the fact that London Fashion Week is near me this year (score!), I think this year's event is definitely one to beat!

Erykah Badu: New Music

The queen of Neo-Soul is back with this Lil Wayne collabo. 'Jump In the Air' is a web-release single of her new album 'New Amerykah Part Two (Return of the Ankh)'. I love Erykah Badu, I don't think she can never make a boring song ... until I heard this. I am not a fan of this new (old) r'n'b sound. Another track called 'Window Seat' will be the first single from her album. That song, I love. Listen to it here.

Alexander Mcqueen ... Encore

Before the untimely death of Alexander Mcqueen, it was clear that there was nothing ordinary about his designs. He introduced two of the biggest trends that will dominate high street shops in 2010; tribal designs and digital patterns. We are already seeing a lot of tribal designs in Topshop, & American Apparel. Well, I guess all we can do is remember him for his amazing inventive skills. In the mean time, this is his Spring/Summer 2010 show.

Black Eyed Peas: Imma Be/ Rock That Body Official Video

The wait is finally over! BEP have finally released their video for Imma Be/Rock That Body this week. Once again, they kept to their futuristic theme for the album releases. I am happy to say I love the video! It's fun, different and it's their first cinematic video! Let's just hope it does well in the charts because they deserve it! But I have to say ... they're far from the best actors out there, but I still love them.

I like to think that my blog offers a new feel to 'blogging'. In one sense, it's the same as any other blog because I'm just posting whatever is on my mind at the moment. But on the other hand, my blog offers a lot of fashion tips that I have picked up on; as well as new music I've heard. For the mean time, I'll probably just show you shoppers a cheaper alternative to the cloths you love but can't afford (I've never done that before but I'm up for a challenge!). Enjoy...
